Boulder County Farmers Markets needed to take their logo from an antiquated and overly detailed illustration to a versatile and accessible brand identity system. The organization's refreshed brand positioning and approach to visual communication resulted in increased recognition throughout Boulder and Longmont, as well as increased merchandise sales at every market.

 

STRATEGY

Starting with research to build a creative strategy, we uncovered the ideal audience for the brand - parents of young children - and crafted a look that would appeal to these key targets while remaining true to the roots and dreams of the organization.

 

SOLUTION

A flexible identity system and logo that looks great in one color give the nonprofit the ability to apply their brand mark in a variety of ways within a limited budget. The seal design provides space for key brand identifiers that resonate with guests, like the location and year the market started.
